Walk through the doors at Lodge 2672 on a Friday night and you'll understand immediately why first-time visitors say they felt at home before they even found a seat. The hall carries the kind of lived-in comfort that only comes from years of real use, real celebrations, and real community. The bar is stocked, the members are approachable, and the history on the walls gives you something to talk about.

Situated on South U.S. Hwy 41 in Ruskin, the lodge serves the broader South Hillsborough community as a gathering place that goes well beyond a typical social club. Events like Speedling's 50th anniversary celebration have filled this hall with live music, catering, and hundreds of guests, which says a lot about the space and the people who run it.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks was founded in 1868, and Lodge 2672 carries that tradition forward with scholarship programs, veteran support initiatives, and charitable giving that flows directly back into the Ruskin area. Membership here means something tangible, not just a card in your wallet.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full-service bar open to members and their guests, making it a reliable spot to unwind after work or catch a game with people you actually know. Regular social events, dinners, and holiday gatherings fill the calendar throughout the year, so there is almost always something worth showing up for.

Event hosting is a genuine strength here. The facility has the square footage to accommodate corporate anniversaries, fundraisers, reunions, and private parties, with catering options and a built-in sound setup that has handled live bands without a hitch. If you are planning a large event in South Hillsborough County, this venue punches above its weight class for the price.

Beyond the social side, Lodge 2672 actively funds youth scholarships, supports local veterans, and runs community service programs tied to the national Elks mission. Joining means your dues do real work in the ZIP codes you live and work in.

"Great corned beef dinner on St. Patty's Day. Met some great folks at this lodge. Hope my family joins. Don't miss having a "Dirty Elk" (chocolate martini), specialty of the house, made by the great bartender, Julie. Visiting from Westbrook, CT Lodge 1784."

"We were passing through Ruskin and thiught we would stop in. Much to our surprise it still wasn't open at 4:30. Why not post your hours on the sign outside, or at least on the door. That would be a great help. We had been here once before."
— Mary K.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
